Being part of the SHEVET community means joining a supportive, vibrant group, where members can connect, grow, and share experiences.
You’ll have access to exclusive gatherings, social events, and themed days, designed for community bonding. These events foster collaboration, shared meals, and opportunities to both offer and receive help.
You will also receive regular updates about Healya’s activities and have priority access to events.
Additionally, members will be eligible to purchase a property at Healya Village, located just a short walking distance from Healya.
SHEVET hosts community-based activities beyond its retreats, including regular support groups, social gatherings, and themed events.
Members can participate in both - physical and virtual meetings.
In the physical space, they can join group discussions and shared activities, while in the virtual space, they will have access to a dedicated group chat where conversations, updates, and support are readily available.
These gatherings and interactions provide members with ongoing connection, shared experiences, and mutual encouragement.
SHEVET is located on a small hill between the city of Chania and the town of Kissamos, about a 30-minute drive west of Chania and 45 minutes from Chania Airport.
The best way to reach SHEVET is by renting a car at the airport and driving there.
Alternatively, you can travel to Chania and take a bus heading west. There is a bus stop at the base of the hill, from which you can walk up to Healya.
In the future, shuttle services will also be available.
SHEVET offers two on-site accommodation units.
One unit features a bedroom and a living room with a sofa that can be converted into a comfortable double bed.
The second unit is a cozy studio with a double bed.
Both units are equipped with air conditioning, a kitchen, a seating area, a TV, and an outdoor space with tables and chairs.
Guests staying in these units can enjoy access to the pool and may participate as guest attendees in SHEVET’s activities, subject to availability.
Additionally, the village where SHEVET is located offers several accommodation options that can host between ten to twenty-five people in total.
Visitors are always welcome at SHEVET, but it is highly recommended to coordinate your visit in advance via phone or email.
If you plan to stay in one of the on-site accommodation units, making a reservation ahead of time is mandatory to ensure availability.

Yes, of course. SHEVET welcomes facilitators who bring their own participants for workshops.

SHEVET offers two types of activities.
The first type is community-focused activities, where members gather for shared meals, social events, and collaborative experiences.
These activities can take place in various spaces, such as the activity area, the indoor meeting space, around the pool, the patio, or the backyard.
The second type of activity is open to the public and includes workshops of varying lengths—ranging from one to three hours, full-day workshops, or multi-day retreats.
These events provide diverse opportunities for personal growth, connection, and learning.
SHEVET's operating hours are flexible and vary depending on the scheduled events and activities. We ensure that activities do not start too early or extend late into the night, respecting the peaceful atmosphere of the village and maintaining good relations with our neighbors.
SHEVET is primarily designed for adults, offering a peaceful and reflective environment.
However, we love children, and if there is sufficient demand, we will organize events and activities that are open to children as well.

You can register for events directly through the website in advance.
In the future, a dedicated app will be available, allowing users to receive updates and register for events easily.
The default language for workshops at SHEVET is English.
However, specific workshops may be conducted in other languages, such as Hebrew, German, Finnish or Greek, depending on the facilitator and the participants.
Crete offers many beautiful hiking trails.
While there are no direct trails starting from SHEVET, you can reach various scenic routes within a fifteen-minute to one-hour drive.
If there is sufficient demand, transportation, such as a van or minibus, can be arranged to take participants to and from the trails.
Yes, SHEVET can be rented for private events, including workshops, retreats, or celebrations.
Advance coordination is required to ensure availability and to arrange any necessary accommodations, catering, and services.
